<body bgcolor="#FFFFFF" background="IMAGES/sand.jpg"><table dir="ltr" border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" width="100%"><tr><td valign="top"> <h2>Welcome to Hobie Cat Fleet 61 of Denver, CO; part of the North American Hobie Cat Association (NAHCA) Division 5.</h2> <p>Hobie Cat Fleet 61 of Denver, Colorado sails in the mountain lakes of division 5 and some of the prairie lakes of eastern Colorado & Nebraska. Our members come from diverse walks of life from the Denver, Breckenridge, Colorado Springs, Boulder, northern Colorado, and western Kansas areas. </p> <p>Fleet 61's mission is to develop Hobie Sailing, within Denver and the Colorado Front Range community, for  of all ages, singles, couples and familes.     </p> <p>Fleet 61 sailors are a fun loving group of folks who share an interest in sailing and water recreation.   We enjoy teaching new members as well as challenging the 'old salts' on the water.   We tend to have the most fun at slightly organized weekend regattas. </p> <p>Hobie events are for all sailors, racers & non-racers, to come and enjoy a particular lake with their friends and families.   A hobie regatta is a few days of fun in this fast paced world.  A typical regatta offers a Saturday night dinner with beverages, campfire, and tall tales of a days sailing adventure.  While race regattas do support racing, its also a social event.  Non-racers are welcome at all events.  Please come and participate in Hobie sailing. </p> <p> Sailing within Division 5, which includes New Mexico, Utah, Wyoming, and Colorado, requires some travel, so our summer vacation schedules often allow for an extra day before or after a regatta just to enjoy the local. We enjoy seeing new faces as well as old friends by the water. This past season saw our best growth within the 16C fleet. We've tried to give as much information to help new folks find us lake side, but don't be shy.
